Registration is now open for the 15th Annual Z Tour Bike Ride, rolling into Princeton, Illinois, on Saturday, July 18, 2026, and we can’t wait to welcome you! This charity ride supports the Zearing Child Enrichment Center while offering some of the best cycling routes in North-Central Illinois—featuring scenic roads, rolling hills, and peaceful stretches along Bureau Creek and the Hennepin Canal.
2026 Ride Routes
Choose your perfect ride with well-marked and fully supported routes:
10 miles: A great option for families and newer riders, featuring a rest stop at TBD.
30 miles: A scenic ride through the countryside at a relaxed pace.
50 miles: A balanced challenge, offering all the beauty of the 30-mile route with extra miles for those wanting more.
65 miles: For those looking to push themselves with rolling hills and an extra rest stop.
Adventure Route – 64 miles (Mixed Surface): A gravel adventure with pavement, dirt, and maybe a little mud! Minimum 28c tires recommended. Marked with red bikes.
NOTE: The 100-mile route will NOT be available this year.

Group Registration – “Me + 3”
Get rewarded for riding together; create a catchy team name, register at least four riders, and your group leader will receive:
$25 in Princeton Chamber Bucks or $25 towards ZTour Swag!
Quick & Easy Registration
Register online before midnight on July 16th for faster check-in and lower pricing! Walk-up registration available Friday (5:00-7:00 PM) & Saturday (5:45-9:00 AM), expect longer wait times in the morning.
Event Weekend Schedule
Friday, July 17th:
- Early Check-in: 5:00–7:00 PM at TBD
- Down On Main Street Concert: 6:00 – 9:00pm. The Chicago Experience will be performing LIVE on Main Street!!
Saturday, July 18th Ride Day:
- Check-in Opens: 5:45 AM at Zearing Park
- Ride Start Time: No later than 9:00 AM (helmet required)
- Rest Stops: Stocked with nutrition, drinks, and music
- SAG Support: Radio-dispatched assistance available until 3:00 PM
- First Aid Support: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM at Zearing Park
- End-of-Ride Meal: Located at Zearing Park starting no earlier than 10:30am
- Detailed maps and cue sheets
- Camping options(tent or camper) at the Bureau County Fairgrounds available(nominal fee).
- Several Air B and B options- book early!!
- Light breakfast offered from 5:45-11:00 am at Zearing Park
- Check in at Zearing Park is required this year for safety and to receive your meal ticket.
- All other riders should start NO LATER than 9:00am. Helmets required!
- All routes begin and end at Princeton’s beautiful Zearing Park, where volunteers will be around to greet you and welcome you back from your long adventures!
- Check-In after your ride at Zearing park with our volunteers right where you checked in to leave.
