Z Tour Ride 2021, “Virtually Anywhere,” is to support Zearing Child Enrichment Center in Princeton, Illinois. Visit zcec.org to get more information about the Child Care Program these funds support.
While this ride may look different than years past, we are excited to be able to offer some fun for our riders during these times!
Typically this ride is geared toward bicyclists. However, this year due to covid restrictions, we decided to open this up to all types of adventurers! Pick your distance and get active to show some love for Zearing Child Enrichment Center. Take it outdoors or keep it inside. Run, Walk, Bike, Kayak, or however else you exercise! Get together with a small group (socially distanced of course) or ‘go it alone!’ We have put together 2 different ways you can join us this year!
This year’s event will run between July 1 and July 17th, 2021. We will be featuring routes and distances to travel each weekend between July 1-July 17th. Please feel free to use any of the dates between July 1- July 17th to complete any adventure!
**Although we CANNOT hold our Z Tour Ride due to state mandates for events, if riders choose to come to Princeton the day of the Ride to enjoy the routes we have provided, we welcome you to our town**
Show and Go
We know that the beautiful routes are a favorite for our riders, so we have prepared some routes to ride if you choose to come to Princeton, Illinois. You will find these at the links below! At this point, we do not plan to mark or sweep the routes, however, we may be able to provide this as the date gets closer! We will update as we know!!
4.5 Mile- Ride with GPS – Go from Zearing Park down Princeton’s Main Street to the train tracks and back! Check out restaurants and local shops in Princeton!
10 Mile- Ride with GPS – Enjoy some beautiful country roads of Princeton, Illinois!
30 Mile- Ride with GPS – This route will take you through Wyanet, Princeton, and Tiskilwa.
50 Mile- Ride with GPS – Take it a little further and go through Wyanet, Princeton, and Tiskilwa and see the beautiful countryside.
65 Mile- Ride with GPS – There is so much to see when you ride through Tiskilwa, Bradford, Wyanet, and Princeton!
100 Mile- Ride with GPS – The most sought after route will take you through Tiskilwa, Bradford, Wyanet, and Princeton! There is so much to see. Enjoy the beauty of Bureau County.
Adventure Route- 65 Mile- Ride with GPS – Check out the canal and do some “off roading” to see different parts of Bureau County. This is not a typical road route, please use caution.

Ride any distance in your hometown or a favorite spot!

2021 Ticket Options
When you go to sign up you will notice there are 2 ticket options. All tickets will include an exclusive “Virtually Anywhere” Z Tour shirt! These shirts will be shipped to you by July 1st if you purchase tickets no later than June 1st. If you purchase your ticket AFTER June 1st, your shirt will arrive shortly after July 17th.
Option #1
Purchase your ticket for $25.00 and pledge to raise “X” amount of dollars! You will need to select from one of the options below. You will be required to purchase the ticket for the FULL amount you plan to raise from your sponsors. If you choose this option, you will be featured on our facebook page. Raise $500 or more and receive a free ticket to ride in our 2022 Z Tour event!
Sponsorship Ticket Options
$50- “Zearing Park”- You are pledging to raise $25 in sponsorships!
$75- “Barn Quilt”- You are pledging to raise $50 in sponsorships!
$125- “Main Street” – You are pledging to raise $100 in sponsorships!
$225- “Red Covered Bridge” – You are pledging to raise $200 in sponsorships!
$325- “Elvis”- You are pledging to raise $300 in sponsorships!
$425- “It’s For the Kids” – You are pledging to raise $400 in sponsorships!
$525- “Zearing Child Enrichment Center” – You are pledging to raise $500 in sponsorships!
Option #2
Purchase your ticket for $35.00 and do not pledge to get any funds from outside sources. Enjoy the ride!

Merchandise
For the 2021 Virtually Anywhere Z Tour ride, we have chosen not to speculate on pre-ride inventory as we have done in the past. We will evaluate all on-line orders on April 29th, May 13th, and May 27th. If on any of those dates that the supplier’s minimum order quantities are met or exceeded, we will place an order, which will insure delivery before the virtual ride date of July 17th. We also plan to place a post ride order on July 23rd. In the event that we don’t meet our supplier’s minimum order requirements, Z Tour will refund your money. We apologize for this change in hopes that you understand we are attempting to create an event that is in compliance with pandemic guidelines while being fiscally responsible at the same time.
